Newlywed Session ~ Watercolor Resort

Ashley and Porter were just married this past year, and they contacted me because they had never had engagement photos taken and really wanted some images to document this time in their lives. We headed over to gorgeous Watercolor Resort and enjoyed a magical (and warm!) winter evening running around laughing and shooting until after the sun set:)

Beach Fun ~ Panama City Engagement

I had a blast at Heather and Adam’s engagement shoot on Shell Island!!! It was such a gorgeous spot, and extra special because it’s the same place Adam proposed to Heather after a boat trip and a romantic beachside picnic:) These two are so fun, I can’t wait for their wedding in a few months at Tops’l Resort!

I love repeat clients! I have been so fortunate since I moved back to the states to reunite with many of the families I had photographed prior to moving overseas. It is so rewarding to watch these children and families grow and to be a part of documenting these precious times. Here is little Leo, who I hadn’t seen since his one-year photos on my last trip. He has become such a sweet and adorable curious two year old, and it was so great to see all the changes a short year can bring. I’m looking forward to meeting his new little sister, who will be making an appearance before too long…:)

I had so much fun at April and Erin’s riverside wedding at Steinhatchee River Landing. A beautiful ceremony by the river, followed by a fun, family oriented reception in a green-and-purple-bedecked tent with a delicious dinner and a magician for entertainment! The newlyweds even took a little canoe trip for some private time before the party started…

April and Erin decided to do a “First Look” before the ceremony began.

I met with Denise and Cullen on a lovely fall evening at Watercolor Beach. After going back and forth on location ideas, I’m so glad we chose this one. It is so beautiful there and the autumn evening light was just delicious:) That paired with their obvious affection for each other made for a fun session! We started at the park and then hit the beach…

Imes Family ~ Columbus, Mississippi

Sometimes extended family photo sessions can be really tough just because of the large number of people and kids. The Imes family however, was a pure delight to photograph! We had a blast running around their gorgeous country manor near Columbus Mississipi! The kiddos were so sweet, and they are just an overall fun and joyful family:)
